Dead to Sin, Alive to God
We are submerged in water to identify with the death of Jesus and rise out of the water to identify with His resurrection. Baptism testifies to our faith that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, rose three days later, and now is alive and Lord over all creation.
4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
When a Christian is baptized, you fulfill what Jesus has commanded
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19, 20
Who should be baptized?
If you have made a commitment to Jesus, we encourage you to follow His command to be baptized as a public profession of your faith in Him. Sign up and we’ll contact you to coordinate a Sunday for your baptism.
