Welcome to Frontline Downtown!
We're so glad you're here. We gather on Sundays at 9 AM and 11 AM at 1104 N Robinson Avenue in Oklahoma City. We hope to see you soon!
A Church for the City
Frontline Church launched on Easter of 2005, with around 20 people gathering together in Josh and Nancy Kouri’s living room. This once-small group has now grown into multiple congregations, with active plans to plant more churches in the upcoming years.
Frontline Downtown is a church for the city and we love our city! The Downtown congregation is located in the historic First Christian Church building in the Midtown District of downtown Oklahoma City. Our address is 1104 N Robinson Ave. We hold two Sunday worship gatherings with community groups meeting weekly throughout the city for community, discipleship, and mission.
Service times: 9 AM and 11 AM
Location: 1104 N Robinson Ave
Whether you're a skeptic, irreligious, or Christian, you're welcome here. There are no questions off limits as we process the claims of Jesus with you. No matter where you find yourself, you're invited to join us at 9 AM and 11 AM.
FRONTLINE KIDS
Our nursery and elementary ministry space is located on the east side of our building. You can enter this space by walking through the courtyard on the east side of the main stairs that face 10th Street.
Our Elementary ministry is for kids from first-fifth grade. It is located on the southeast side of the building on the lowest level.
You will be greeted by a Frontline Kids volunteer who will help you check in your child, provide a security sticker, and assist you to your child’s classroom. Both Nursery and Elementary ministries are staffed by screened volunteers who are equipped to lead your children to Jesus through the Scriptures.
Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about what you can expect when you visit us!
What can I expect on a Sunday morning?
We gather together on Sundays to celebrate what God has done through Jesus in our lives and community. A live band will play a few songs, we will have a call and response liturgy, there will be a time of prayer, followed by a welcoming time and announcements. Then one of our pastors will preach a sermon based on a text from Scripture, usually, from whatever book of the Bible we are studying as a church. Our services always end with baptized believers taking communion together. Our services typically last about 75 minutes.
Where can I get connected?
Great question! Our Welcome Area is in the back of the Sanctuary. If you have any questions about finding a community group, serving in the church or city, or just want to learn more about Frontline Church, we’d be happy to help you. You can fill out a welcome card in your seatback and drop it off at our Welcome table, or you can fill one out online.
What does ministry look like during the week?
So much of what we do at Frontline doesn't occur during Sunday services, but throughout the other six days of the week, as we scatter like salt and light into our city, on mission. As we learn to give and receive ministry between Sundays, we start to become a real church and not just a Sunday morning event.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
The way to get plugged into the life of Frontline is to join a Community Group. Groups are the primary place where we are known, cared for, and encouraged to be on mission for Jesus. They meet weekly in homes and are scattered all over Oklahoma City. For more information on locations and times of specific groups, come to the Welcome Table or go to frontlinechurch.com/community.
STUDENTS
Our students (sixth through twelfth grade) gather every Wednesday night from 6-8 PM. The time begins with students eating a meal together. We then have worship, teaching, and small groups to follow. Small groups are arranged by age and gender, and are led by screened adult leaders who are equipped to mentor students in the way of Jesus—to love God, love people, and push back darkness.
