Welcome to Frontline South!
We're so glad you're here. We gather on Sundays at 9 AM and 11 AM at 737 SE 89th Street in South Oklahoma City. We hope to see you soon!
A Church for the City
Frontline Church launched on Easter 2005, with around 20 people gathering in Josh and Nancy Kouri’s living room. This once-small group has now grown into multiple congregations, and there are active plans to plant more churches in the upcoming years.
Frontline South OKC was planted in late 2011 out of a desire to see the mission of loving God, loving people, and pushing back darkness multiplied into the streets of South Oklahoma City and beyond. We love this community and, more importantly, Jesus loves this community. We gather on Sundays to worship Jesus and celebrate what He’s doing in our lives and in our city. We hope to see Jesus lifted up as the church scatters, living lives on mission and in community together during the week. If you live in South OKC, Moore, Norman, Del City, or nearby, we’d love to invite you to come worship with us on Sundays and jump into a community group near you!
Service times: 9 AM and 11 AM
Location: 737 se 89th Street
Whether you're a skeptic, irreligious, or Christian, you're welcome here. There are no questions off limits as we process the claims of Jesus with you. No matter where you find yourself, you're invited to join us at 9 AM and 11 AM.
FRONTLINE KIDS
Frontline Kids is located a few feet inside our main entrance. Our nursery classrooms are located on the first floor, just past the lobby, and our elementary ministry (for kids from 1st to 5th grade) meets upstairs, just to the right of the check-in area.
When you arrive, you will be greeted by a Frontline Kids volunteer who will help you check in your child, provide a security sticker, and assist you to your child’s classroom. Both Nursery and Elementary ministries are staffed by screened volunteers who are equipped to lead your children to Jesus through the Scriptures.
Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about what you can expect when you visit us!
What can I expect on a Sunday morning?
We gather together on Sundays to celebrate what God has done through Jesus in our lives and community. A live band will play a few songs, we will take time to confess our sin and receive assurance of God's grace, there will be a time of prayer, followed by a welcoming time and announcements, and then one of our pastors will teach a lesson from the Bible. Our services always end with baptized believers taking communion together. Our services typically last about 75 minutes.
Where can I get connected?
Great question! Our Welcome Area is to the right of our entrance on your way to the sanctuary. If you have any questions about finding a community group, serving in the church or city, or want to learn more about Frontline Church, we’d be happy to help you. You can fill out a welcome card in your seatback and drop it off at our Welcome table, or you can fill one out online.
What does ministry look like during the week?
So much of what we do at Frontline doesn't occur during Sunday services, but throughout the other six days of the week, as we scatter like salt and light into our city, on mission. As we learn to give and receive ministry between Sundays, we start to become a real church and not just a Sunday morning event.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
Join a community group to get plugged into the life of Frontline Church. Groups are the primary place where we are known, cared for, and encouraged to be on mission for Jesus. They meet weekly and are scattered all over South Oklahoma City, Moore, and Norman. For more information on the locations and times of specific groups, come to the Welcome Table or go to frontlinechurch.com/community.
STUDENTS
Our students (6th-12th grade) gather every Wednesday night from 6:30-8 PM. The time begins with worship, teaching, and small groups to follow. Small groups are arranged by age and gender, and are led by screened adult leaders who are equipped to mentor students in the way of Jesus—to love God, love people, and push back darkness.
