Welcome to Frontline Shawnee!
We're so glad you're here. We gather on Sundays at 9 AM and 11 AM at 330 N Beard Avenue in Shawnee. We hope to see you soon!
A Church for the City
Frontline Church launched on Easter 2005, with around 20 people gathering in Josh and Nancy Kouri’s living room. This once-small group has now grown into multiple congregations, and there are active plans to plant more churches in the upcoming years.
Frontline Shawnee was the first congregation ever planted out of Frontline. For nearly a decade, we have worked to multiply gospel communities throughout Shawnee that love God, love people, and push back darkness. God has been incredibly faithful, and we are so grateful to be planted here!
Service times: 9 AM and 11 AM
Location: 33o n beard ave
Whether you're a skeptic, irreligious, or Christian, you're welcome here. There are no questions off limits as we process the claims of Jesus with you. No matter where you find yourself, you're invited to join us at 9 AM and 11 AM.
FRONTLINE KIDS
The Nursery is located on the ground floor. The easiest way to get there is by entering the street-level doors on the north side of the building off of 11th St. Once inside, you will go down the ramp. The Frontline Kids check-in area will be on the right. We suggest that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to service.
One of our Service Coordinators will walk you through registration and show you how to complete check-in on your next visit. Each child will receive an identifying sticker to wear, and parents will be given a security sticker. After checking your child in, you will be shown to their classroom.
Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about what you can expect when you visit us!
What can I expect on a Sunday morning?
We gather together on Sundays to celebrate what God has done through Jesus in our lives and community. A live band will play a few songs, we will take time to confess our sin and receive assurance of God's grace, there will be a time of prayer, followed by a welcoming time and announcements, and then one of our pastors will teach a lesson from the Bible. Our services always end with baptized believers taking communion together. Our services typically last about 75 minutes.
Where can I get connected?
Great question! Our Welcome Area is in the back of the Sanctuary. If you have any questions about finding a community group, serving in the church or city, or just want to learn more about Frontline Church, we’d be happy to help you. You can fill out a welcome card in your seatback and drop it off at our Welcome table, or you can fill one out online.
What does ministry look like during the week?
So much of what we do at Frontline doesn't occur during Sunday services, but throughout the other six days of the week, as we scatter like salt and light into our city, on mission. As we learn to give and receive ministry between Sundays, we start to become a real church and not just a Sunday morning event.
COMMUNITY GROUPS
The way to get plugged into the life of Frontline is to join a Community Group. Groups are the primary place where we are known, cared for, and encouraged to be on mission for Jesus. They meet weekly and are scattered all over Oklahoma City. For more information on locations and times of specific groups, come to the Welcome Table or go to frontlinechurch.com/community.
STUDENTS
Our students (sixth-twelfth grade) gather every Wednesday night from 6:30-8 PM. The time begins with worship, teaching, and small groups to follow. Small groups are arranged by age and gender, and are led by screened adult leaders who are equipped to mentor students in the way of Jesus—to love God, love people, and push back darkness.
